What you believe, determines your destiny, and how you live your life on earth.

An environmentalist can take care of the earth for those who will come afterwards, as a conscientious person. A moral person can treat others kindly, and say, "What goes around, comes around." A Christian can take care of God's earth because he was commanded to do so in Genesis, and love others, because Jesus said so. A Christian can tell others about Jesus and eternal life, because she has hope. They can point to the glories in Creation and see the evidence of God.
 Can you be a Christian
And not believe in Creation? Well, we believe its harder to.  That's like only believing half of who God is, being that He created us!  On the other hand, some Christians believe God used evolution as His way of creating. God certainly could have used any method He chose to create us, but a plain six-day creation is written about in the Bible. It makes the most sense, its the most straight forward way. God said it. He was there!

The Flood laid down the layers of rock all over the earth.  Much destruction, laid down suddenly resulted in fossils all over the earth! The Bible says it happened, and the evidence is all around us. Why not believe?

The Bible is clear that those who believe on the name of Jesus Christ will be saved.  How we choose to apply the word of God in our lives, how much of the Bible we choose to believe is certainly our choice. However, it's a lot easier to believe the whole truth and nothing but the truth over other wild theories that only poke holes into any belief in God at all.

Believing in Evolution, as part of God's design, only weakens a Christian's faith.  There is no compromise in Christ!

Does Creation matter?
We believe that a person must accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to be saved.  We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, to be interpreted with no additional texts or doctrines.  We believe in the Biblical account of Creation as given in the book of Genesis, not in the Theory of Evolution.   We believe the Bible timeline which would date the earth and universe at a little over 6,000 years, rather than the billions of years required for the Evolutional timeline.   This means that dinosaurs existed along with humans for much of the history of the world, not billions of years before man evolved, as Evolutionists would have us believe.

Why does it matter whether or not a person believes the Biblical accounts of the Creation and the Flood?  To disbelieve the account of Creation found in Genesis is to cast doubt on the creditability of  rest of the Bible and of Jesus himself.  Many books of the Bible refer to the book of Genesis, and always refer to the Genesis accounts as an authority to be taken literally and at face value.  Jesus himself referred to Genesis and to the Creation in Matthew 19:4,  "Have ye not read, that  he which made them at the beginning made them male and female...?"  To believe that God created through evolution would require billions of years of death and decay BEFORE man evolved.   This is a major contradiction to the very foundation of the Gospel message which  tells us that God created a perfect world, there was no death before sin, and death came as a RESULT of the first man's sin (Gen 3:22-23, 1 Cor. 15: 21-22, Romans 5-12,14-15).  Then, salvation and life came as a result of Christ  overcoming sin and death (I Cor. 15: 22,  "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive").

Some Christians have attempted to reconcile the Creation and Flood accounts with the Theory of Evolution (Day/Age Theory, Gap Theory).  These attempts are perhaps done out of a mistaken belief that there is scientific proof of the Evolution Theory.  Many people do not realize that no such proof exists.  Many scientists are also Creationists, and point out that true science has never produced any proof of Evolution.  There is much scientific evidence that supports the Biblical accounts of the Creation and Flood, and evidence that dinosaurs coexisted with man. Both Evolution and Creation are belief systems, and as any religion, either one must be accepted on faith without final evidence or proof.   The Theory of Evolution makes no attempt to answer the fundamental question of where matter or energy originally came from.

Lets talk about Evolution
The Evolutionist defies the Word of God by claiming that one kind of life progressed  into other kinds as life evolved from simple to complex.

Evidence like that simply does not exist.

The only kind of changing is micro-evolution, variations within a kind. This type of so-called "evolution" ALWAYS involves loss of information, and never adding new material.

Lets open the Scripture
Check out Romans 1:18-25, focusing on vs. 25 "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

In the Old Testament, Jeremiah prophesied (spoke God's words to the people) of times like these. Check out Jeremiah 2:27 (the same verse, from 3 different versions):

27 - Saying to a stock, thou art my father; and to a stone, thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: (KJV)

27 - (Inasmuch as) they say to a tree, You are my father, and to a stone, You gave me birth, For they have turned their backs unto me and not their faces.

27 - They walk up to a tree, and say, "My father!" They pick up a stone, and say, "My mother! You bore me!" All I ever see of them is their backsides. They never look me in the face. (Message)
